The hotel offers good rooms with a large shower and a comfy bed, although some areas were hazardous due to the eaves; however, the overall quality was excellent. The service was attentive, especially accommodating food intolerances quickly and nicely. The location is perfect for exploring Harrogate, with lovely gardens and a central position. The dining experience had some issues with extra charges and limited options, notably the only letdown during the stay.

The hotel's rooms were small and lacked comfort for the high price paid, but the service was exceptional with a friendly and helpful staff. The location was convenient for various activities, although the dining experience fell short due to slow service.

6.6/10

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were a lot smaller than I expected from the online pictures, which was a bit disappointing. On the bright side, I could control the heating in the room, which was definitely a plus. However, I did notice some black mold on a few of the window frames, which wasn't great.

Rooms
6.0
The room size was smaller than expected but being able to control the heating was a plus, despite the black mold on some window frames.
Service
9.0
The service at the hotel was top-notch. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. They even recognized and addressed a problem we had with the dining area, taking us to a much more comfortable place. The service was faultless.
Location
5.0
The hotel's location is a bit of a mixed bag. It's about 10 minutes from the center, which was ideal for us. However, the surrounding area was full of wasps, and the presence of grotty carpets, moldy shower, and cracked bathroom floor tiles didn't create the best impression. The hotel is on the outskirts of Harrogate, near Harrogate center, Cold Bath Road, beautiful shops, and Harlow Carr.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience left something to be desired. Breakfast was served as a takeaway in a bag, which was disappointing considering we had a satisfying evening meal at the hotel. It felt odd that they couldn't serve breakfast at the table. Additionally, the breakfast included was lackluster, and the option for high-quality products came at an extra £9 cost.
